28 Nov BHP Billiton to speak at PfW Ambassador’s Reception
Vandita Pant, Group Treasurer and Head of Europe will speak at the PfW Ambassador’s Reception at Linklaters on 6 December.
Vandita has more than 25 years of international experience having worked in a variety of executive roles in India, Singapore, Japan, and for the last 12 years, in London.
Vandita joined BHP Billiton in January 2016 as Group Treasurer and Head of Europe. In this capacity she is responsible for BHP Billiton Group’s structural financial risk, liquidity investment portfolio, corporate finance & Debt portfolio, capital management related functions and involved in all the strategic transactions which have balance-sheet impact. Vandita also heads BHP Billiton’s operations in Europe and as part of her accountabilities, plays a pivotal role in representing BHP Billiton in this region. In her current role, Vandita is one of the senior most executives and the most senior female Asian in the Group globally. BHP Billiton have set some ambitious gender diversity targets. The reception is an invitation only event.
