What is an Ambassador?

Ambassadors are champions for POWERful Women (PfW), supporting our goal of achieving at least 40% women in middle management and leadership roles in the UK energy sector by 2030.

They help us achieve this through three core actions:

- SUPPORTING,
- CHALLENGING,
- CONNECTING

From the beginning, PfW has been guided by influential leaders in the energy sector and beyond, who act as advocates, allies, and contributors of expertise. Our Ambassadors leverage their position, profile, networks, and influence to amplify the PfW mission and raise awareness of the importance of diversity in the industry.

How PfW supports Ambassadors?

The PfW team will support Ambassadors in their role and can be contacted at any time with questions or suggestions. By providing off-the-shelf resources as well as targeted briefings, we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to support us.

PfW organises events for existing and new Ambassadors to promote the work of PfW, update you on our goals and activities and provide a networking opportunity, including an annual Ambassadors Reception where you can get an update on our work and meet other ambassadors.
