POWERful Women is committed to encouraging energy companies to improve gender diversity by highlighting those companies actively trying to make a difference. We do this by accepting pledges and publishing our Annual State of the Nation, including the company board statistics and executive pipeline data for the top 80 energy companies, representing the industry’s most significant employers.
We also focus on the career barriers that women face at middle management level in the UK energy sector and have published research on how this talent can be cultivated.
An important part of driving change is continuing to convey the benefits of better gender diversity and inclusion, including the strong evidence for the business case.
