We’re delighted to announce the launch of POWERful Women’s report on women in middle management – Cultivating Female Talent in Energy: what the sector can do to resolve the barriers faced by women in middle management – which we will be celebrating with a breakfast event on 27 April 2022 at 08.30 – 09.40 ONLINE.
 
The breakfast will formally launch the report at the offices of Bain & Company (40 Strand, London), with whom we collaborated on the research.
 
In 2021, with women under-represented across the energy sector and occupying only 14% of executive director roles, POWERful Women set out to explore the experience of women working at middle-management level in the industry.  What do they feel about the energy sector and their own and other women’s prospects?  What kind of supportive company policies already exist to help them succeed in their roles or progress to higher levels? What is holding them back? And what would make a difference to them and their careers?
 
We are pleased to be able to present the findings of our research to those working and leading in the UK energy industry. The event will provide a deeper dive into the report results and provide an opportunity to ask questions around the study and to show support for this important agenda. 
 
The virtual session will take place between 08.30 and 09.40 (GMT) on Wednesday 27th April and the in-person event will be on an invite-only basis. If you have already received an invite to join in-person, please ignore this email.
