10 Oct POWERful Women at Solar & Storage Live 2019
We were delighted to partner with Solar & Storage Live this year to host a lively Women in Energy drinks mixer on 17th September.
Nina Skorupska, Chief Executive of the Renewable Energy Association, Deputy Chair of Women in Science and Engineering and one of our brilliant POWERful Women Ambassadors, gave an inspiring opening address. As one of the most influential women in the UK energy market, Nina told a powerful story of the pressing need – and the business value – of increasing the number of women at senior levels in our sector. She was also full of valuable advice for aspiring women, managers and corporate leaders.
Nina got the audience chatting, sharing tips and asking questions; and everyone benefited from this important networking opportunity.
Solar & Storage Live shares our goals of advancing gender diversity in the renewables and wider energy sector and it was great to work with them on this popular event.
