‘How to embrace your value and increase your self-confidence at work’
Laura Capindale, Career Coach and Director of The HR Crowd and Parentrepreneurs, will share her wealth of experience in increasing confidence and understanding your value at work at our next POWERful Connections breakfast on 27th September at 08.30am via MS Teams.
Laura has worked in Human Resources for 13 years across various private and public sector organisations and prior to this, held senior roles within Local Government. After returning from maternity leave in 2017, Laura struggled with the inflexibility of corporate working requirements and not being able to achieve the work/life balance she wanted. This led me Laura setting up a property business in 2019 and two years later she began her own HR consultancy business alongside a new position as a Lecturer in HR (CIPD).
Becoming a parent gave Laura a new perspective and it has also brought a continuing set of challenges, which often reflect broader societal and workplace issues. Through this understanding, coaching and helping other parents to achieve their goals has become Laura’s passion. She most recently co-founded Parentrepreneurs Club – a community and coaching service to support like-minded parents, and is an advice line volunteer for Pregnant then Screwed.
Laura has a Level 7 CIPD qualification in Human Resource Management and is an NLP Practitioner and Coach. Psychology and coaching has been a personal interest of Laura’s since, along with her father, she attended a Tony Robbins course when she was just 9 years old. Laura loves being able to help others make transformational changes to both their personal and working lives.
