Our Annual Conference is the forum for UK energy companies – their leaders, managers and D&I professionals – to engage with peers, specialists and women working in the industry, to discuss the gender diversity and inclusion issues of the day and how to make better, faster progress.
This year’s topic follows on from the release of our annual statistics on women in UK energy in May, which revealed that while women are gradually progressing in the pipeline, roles at the top remain male-dominated. Women in middle management also continue to experience career barriers. The conference will identify practical ways forward to accelerate the journey to a diverse, inclusive gender-balanced energy industry so that the sector has the talent required for the transition to net zero.
We have already secured a fantastic line-up of speakers from government, energy C-suite, D&I professionals and business leaders from other sectors, with more to follow.
We will also be running our popular interactive workshops during the afternoon, on a selection of D&I topics as chosen by our network. Plus, there will be the usual valuable networking opportunities over coffee, lunch and a drinks reception.
