23 Mar Keith Anderson, CEO ScottishPower, launches a mentoring scheme for women
POWERful Women Ambassador Keith Anderson, CEO, ScottishPower launched a cross-sector mentoring scheme in Glasgow today. As a POWERful Women Ambassador Keith is tasked to act as a conduit for our aims and objectives and to promote POWERful Women in his network and on speaking platforms.
At an event held at the ScottishPower HQ in Glasgow this morning, Keith invited 18 of his peers to join him in mentoring three women for 12 months – offering careers advice and sharing their insights and experiences, as well as providing professional and personal guidance.
The group of mentors met for the first time and agreed to regular contact and feedback to ensure that the programme maximises the experience for the women being mentored.
POWERful Women seeks to advance the professional growth and leadership development of women across the UK’s energy sector and has grown a community of 1700 since it’s launch by Baroness Verma and Laura Sandys in 2014.
